I think the presentation was harsh. 
 
This is nothing like 2000. I was around in 2000 and the whole game was different. 
 
 
 
VC have now given money to companies that have highly trained employees (like HubSpot). The talk of profitability has been on the table since day one. 
 
 
 
Sure everyone go the big "talk" a week or two ago but today's internet companies are in a much better place then the companies in 2000. 
 
 
 
But it sure feels good being small right now.
