LinkedIn Is Really Pissing Me Off (rant)

I have been a LinkedIn member for longer than I can remember.  Normally it is a very reliable service.  But recently in the last month that has changed.  And frankly, I am sick of it.

All I want to do each day is check my inbox, approve or archive invitations, approve people who have requested to be members of my groups that I manage (http://LinkedIn.ProMarketers.com) and see what other people are up to.

But, for some reason, LinkedIn is making this really hard.  A few days back it would not let me log in, no matter how many times or browsers I tried.  Today it is letting me approve group members for one of my groups, but not the other.

LinkedIn... Look, you used to be pretty cool.  If you really want to be like Facebook (and not the next Friendster, aka failure) get your act in gear.  Your website needs to be highly available and you need to stop giving me error messages whan I try to do basic things.

I have been having problems with LinkedIn and my FireFox browser. I was wondering if I was the only one? Everytime I wanted to perform an activity (such as adding a contact) LinkedIn would keep asking me to log-in (multiple times) and one I have successfully logged in, I would be sent to the home page and then I would have to go to the contact page again and the same problem occured.

I thought it was because LinkedIn was not optimized for Firefox (my settings are on default). I have to use IE and I hate that.

Am I alone in this world?

I've had the same problem with the multiple logging in in IE7, frequently getting a 404 error code after the re-login. Thankfully, I don't lose everything I had typed (such as answering a question).

I've also been getting that same message Mike does on a daily basis when trying to view questions and answers. It's driving me batty.

YOU TELL EM MIKE!:) Could be worse. Your IT guy could be preventing you from accessing ANY BLOG OR SOCIAL MEDIA SITES, making it frustrating to advance your SEO!!!!

Sounds exactly like MySpace. It starts with a couple of error messages and the next thing you know every click is met with a 'sorry we just melted down' page.

These sites need to get their IT together or we're all going to switch to the nearest competitor.

Has anyone been able to get a workaround/fix for this? I have been facing this login issue at LinkedIn for the longest now...all browers! :(
