Win a Free Ticket to the Inbound Marketing Summit

Posted by Mike Volpe on Thu, Sep 23, 2010

I am very excited for the upcoming Inbound Marketing Summit outside Boston on October 6-7.  The lineup of speakers and attendees looks amazing!  I really think it is an event worth attending if you can make it there.

To help build some buzz for the event, I have one ticket to give away.  For anyone who does not win, you can use code HUB50 to save 50% on admission.

Here's how you win the free ticket to the Inbound Marketing Summit:  Leave a comment on this blog article with a limerick (5 lines, lines 1/2/5 rhyme and 3/4 rhyme) or haiku (3 lines, 5-7-5 syllables) about inbound marketing.  I'll pick my favorite based on creativity and humor and that person will win a free ticket for admission to the event.  Comments must be posted by 12 midnight eastern time on Sunday, September 26, 2010.

So... let the inbound marketing poetry begin!

Do people realize Mike,
that you guys employ your inbound strategy ON THEM all the time to stress INBOUND marketing itself?

It's sort of like a memetic ponzi scheme to reinforce what your strategy is ...and why use these little childish games with Haiku's?

This isnt elementary school.

@John Alantar - I think people realize it. I'm not hiding anything. And it is anyone's choice if they read the blog or not and participate or not.

While browsing, from high over Boston,
a results page her website was lost in,
A young marketer thought,
"We should purchase HubSpot!"
And created a deck for her bosses.

The CMO said, "This is awesome!
"Now with HubSpot our rankings will blossom!"
And within a fortnight
They had their site done up right,
And their competitors all playing possum.

If it’s sales that your company needs
Your marketing has to drive leads
So just master inbound
Cos you have to be found
To make certain you're gonna succeed

I used to go door
to door for leads. Now leads come
knocking on my door.

There once was a sales guy from Boston,
who bought leads no matter how much they cost 'im,
But then he got Hubspot,
And he's saving a gold pot,
Cause his website does lead generation.

Wow. Nice work everyone!

There were some great entries all around, but I think I need to pick RICHARD STRANGE as the winner. They were all good and it was hard to pick! I will email Richard with a free pass to the Inbound Marketing Summit.

A special mention goes to Matt Shaw and Noah Dyer, you guys did a great job!
